The 2025 Swine Feed Technical Exchange Meeting co-hosted by Royal De Heus and Wellhope's Swine Feed Technical Team took place at Wellhope's Shenyang headquarters from October 13 to 15. The event, meticulously organized by Dr. Shao Caimei, Wellhope’s Chief Technology Officer, and Dr. Huang Qiang, Group Technical Director of Swine Commercial Feed, brought together Mr. Peter, Royal De Heus swine nutrition expert, as the keynote speaker, Mr. Jan, Royal De Heus Technical Director based at Wellhope, along with regional technical leaders and R&D core members from Wellhope, participated in in-depth discussions. Covering key areas including choline and betaine applications, extrusion and flaking technologies, African Swine Fever risk management, low-protein diet technology and colostrum quality research, the focused agenda delivered practical and efficient outcomes.

Throughout the meeting, Wellhope's technical team actively engaged in Q&A sessions and led thematic discussions on raw materials. Passionate exchanges centered on topics including localization of nutritional solutions, data-driven swine farming, and cost optimization, showcasing their solid professional competence and pragmatic technical spirit.

Notably, the event held special significance for both teams: Peter, the Royal De Heus swine nutrition expert who has contributed remarkably to the partnership since 2008 (spanning 17 years), is set to retire. A warm farewell ceremony was held during a special session on October 14. Teams and individuals from various regions presented carefully prepared gifts to Peter, expressing sincere gratitude for his years of selfless dedication and extending heartfelt wishes.

Seventeen years of sincere cooperation have not only fostered constant technical exchanges but also nurtured a profound friendship.
