On the afternoon of September 25, at the K01 International Conference Center in Shenyang’s Digital Economy Industrial Park, the Liaoning General Chamber of Entrepreneurs held the first meeting of its third term, where a new leadership team was elected. Jin Weidong, the core founder and Chairman of Wellhope Foods Co., Ltd, was chosen as President for the Chamber’s third term.

The event brought together more than 350 participants, including senior provincial officials, such as Mr. Chu Tianyun, Vice Governor of Liaoning Province and Chair of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Huang Yang, Deputy Head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and Party Secretary of the Liaoning Federation of Industry and Commerce, along with representatives from relevant departments and member delegates of the Chamber. During the meeting, delegates reviewed and voted on the list of nominees for directors and supervisors, and in accordance with the rules, elected the new leadership team, including the President, Vice Presidents, Secretary-General, and Chair of the Supervisory Board. A brief inauguration for the new President followed.

The newly elected President, Mr. Jin Weidong, delivered a warm and inspiring address that set the direction for the Chamber’s next phase. He said he puts teams first as an entrepreneur, has stayed true to his original goals, and is an avid reader. He called the role an honor and a serious responsibility. Jin highlighted Liaoning’s strengths in national defense, manufacturing, agriculture, the ocean economy, education, a strong talent base, culture, and sports. He said the province’s entrepreneurs will meet expectations and contribute to high-quality growth across the province. With 2025 the final year of China’s current Five-Year Plan, he set three priorities for the Chamber: build a steady bridge to government; create a high-level platform for cross-sector collaboration; and open a clear channel linking Liaoning entrepreneurs worldwide with their home province—bringing together expertise and resources to drive Liaoning’s revitalization.

The Liaoning General Chamber of Entrepreneurs is an independent, non-profit business association guided by the United Front Work Department of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee. It connects Liaoning entrepreneurs with their home province, helps align private-sector growth with provincial development, and supports local companies in going global.
