Wellhope has recently teamed up with experts from the National Swine Industry Technology System and Wuhan Fanbo Bio-Tech Company to advance a project focused on breeding gilts.

On January 21, Professor Wei Hongkui, a leading expert from the National Swine Industry Technology System, and Dr. Ao Jiangtao from Wuhan Fanbo Bio-Tech Company visited Wellhope's headquarters in Shenyang. They met with Dr. Shao Caimei, Wellhope's Chief Technology Officer, and other leaders to discuss the“Efficient Gilt Breeding Program.”During the meeting, Professor Wei outlined the key elements of the project. Both parties agreed to focus on this initiative in the Longji region (covering Heilongjiang and Jilin) for 2026, and a cooperation agreement was signed that same day.

From February 6-9, Wellhope hosted meetings to discuss the details of the project's implementation. Plans were finalized for the construction of three new gilt breeding farms and one farm for first-time mothers. Four specialized project teams were also set up to oversee the project.

On February 9, Wellhope's Longji region, covering the Heilongjiang and Jilin areas, held its annual planning conference. Three major projects were presented, with a strong emphasis on the critical role of breeding healthy gilts in overcoming production challenges, improving farm performance, and reducing costs.
