On December 10, the 11th Northeast Asia Forum (Session 2) was held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, co-organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shenyang and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Liaoning Sub-council. It brought together government, business and academic representatives from Korea and Northeast China to explore future economic cooperation between Korea and the region. Over 100 participants attended the forum.

The President of CCPIT Liaoning, and the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Shenyang both delivered opening remarks, reviewing the deep friendship and the strong economic and trade relations between Korea and Northeast China. Professors from Liaoning University and Seoul National University presented data on recent foreign investment and trade trends between the Northeast China and Korea.

During the business leaders’ session on economic cooperation, Mr. Jin Weidong, the Chairman of Wellhope, was invited to speak first. He outlined Wellhope’s development history, business scope, international expansion, and current exports to Korea, including broiler products and feed ingredients. Chairman Jin also shared insights on the promising future of economic cooperation in Northeast Asia, aligning his views with practical needs. By highlighting Wellhope’s product strengths, industry position, and corporate culture, he gave the audience a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the brand. This greatly enhanced Wellhope’s visibility in Northeast Asia.

The forum successfully facilitated in-depth exchanges between Northeast Chinese and Korean companies, strengthening the foundation for the economic development of the Northeast Asia Community.
