Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission announced the list of National Engineering Research Centers included in the new sequence management. The "National Engineering Laboratory for Biological Feed Safety and Pollution Prevention and Control" led by Zhejiang University and co-constructed by Wellhope Foods Co., Ltd. successfully completed the optimization and integration, was approved to be included in the list, and was renamed "National Engineering Research Center for Green Feed and Healthy Breeding".

Focusing on China's major strategies such as food safety, ecological civilization, rural revitalization and high-quality development of animal husbandry, the center will carry out research on green feed R&D, development and utilization of feed resources, nutrition regulation technology for the safety and quality of animal products,livestock and poultry health breeding, pollution prevention and control technology,safety evaluation and detection of green feed and animal products and relevant basic& application research and industrial demonstration, in response to the key industrial core problems faced by livestock and poultry breeding, such as shortage of feed resources, residues of antibiotics and heavy metals, pollution of livestock and poultry feces and decline in the quality of animal products. 

As one of the co-construction units, Wellhope will take full technical advantages to play a role in the R & D and promotion of non-resistance feed technology, green feed, healthy breeding and production of high-quality livestock products. Joint with all members of the center, Wellhope will contribute to the technical improvement of animal husbandry industry and the R & D of new products, so that the safe, reassuring, fresh and delicious animal products can be enjoyed on a larger scale.
