Warm congratulations to Dr. Shao Caimei, cofounder and CTO of Wellhope, for becoming one of 50 Chinese Womenlisted in “Forbes Women in Tech 2022”.

Dr. Shao Caimei graduated from Nanjing Agricultural University, majoring in animal physiology and biochemistry. During her study, she was diligent and dedicated to specialized research. She received her doctor’s degree at the age of 25 and became the youngest doctor in the industry that year. After graduation, she has been engaged in the animal husbandry and feed industry and successively worked with the Huamu Poultry Breeding Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and the CONTI Company in America. In 1995, she founded Wellhope jointly with her partners. More than 30 years of working experience has made her a senior technical expert in feed and breeding. Now, she masters rich theoretical knowledge, has rich practical experience, understands the current situation of China’s breeding industry, and knows the needs of farmers. 

As the founder and executive of Wellhope, her character of gentleness, kindness and honesty, unique temperament, demeanor and affinity make her the link to unite all members of the company and the person that everyone can rely on and talk to. Encouraged by her, all Wellhope people make joint efforts to promote the continuous progress of Wellhope.

Dr. Shao Caimei received this honor, which is a recognition of her hard work, diligence and staying true to our original aspiration for decades. It is also the pride of all Wellhope people, and the pride of the animal husbandry and feed industry. We will follow her example, continuously contribute to the team, and even to China's animal husbandry industry.

It is reported that 50 Chinese women listed in the Forbes Women in Tech include company founders, company executives, front-line R&D engineers and technological innovation pioneers. The list is an unranked list of assessing the top 50 women in tech.

Only women who are actively involved in technology-focused businesses or fields are selected in the list, and candidates for the list must have an educational background in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. The list was first released on May 31, 2019, and this year is the fourth time the list has been released.
