Project Kick-off Meeting for Wellhope “Process Performance Management” Launched

This year, Wellhope is focusing on building a “process performance management system”, learning experiences from the mature management model of broiler integration business, to promote and implement in other business units. On the afternoon of April 23, the head office organized the first training and project kick-off meeting of process performance management. More than 300 managers participated in the training.

 “Process performance management” is a more important part of comprehensive performance management, not only linking to the implementation of strategic objectives and plans, but also linking to the implementation of the performance tracking management of organizations and individuals, to continuously improve the performance. Without process, there will be no results. After more than ten years of continuous exploration and optimization, a more complete and systematic process performance management system has been established by Wellhope’s broiler integration business division. The Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle has been formed by strengthening and promoting a complete set of management models, tools and methods including three-level operation analysis meeting, benchmarking management, review, task list, patrol inspection and project team.

Based on rich practical experience, Liu Minyue, Human Resource Director of broiler integration business, Li Yihong, Director of animal feed operation, An Dongfeng, Assistant Director of breeding business, as important managers who participated in establishing the performance model of broiler integration business, provided training for all participants regarding the performance management model, process management of feed business and breeding business. Qiu Jiahui, President of Wellhope, gave guidance during the training. Zhao Wenxin, Chief Human Resources Officer, presided over the meeting and put forward the topic of “what managers manage” - Managers should manage performance and improve performance through a set of scientific and feasible system. It is the mission for managers to continuously improve the performance of the organization they are responsible for.

With the training, the Group’s “process performance management project” has been officially launched. The head office set up a process performance management team. Qiu Jiahui, President of Wellhope, serves as the team leader, vice presidents of operations and heads of functional lines serve as deputy team leaders, some managers of broiler integration business form an expert panel to provide guidance and consultation, and the human resources system is responsible for organization and promotion. The project will be firstly promoted in the feed, pig business and functional departments to enhance the benchmarking management and plan tracking. It is convinced that along with the project being continuously implemented and improved, Wellhope will achieve better performance in 2022.
