Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, and all local and international Wellhope colleagues:

Good morningToday I would like to quote four lines of poems by two great men as the titles of the four paragraphs of my speech. The first two lines "Thirty year achievements and fame gained on the dusty ground" and "Eight thousand miles hard journey under the moon and cloud" is the sentiment of Yue Fei, a famous general of the Song Dynasty, when he was 30 years old 800 years ago. The last two lines “Though the iron-like road long and steep ahead.” and “From a new beginning, we bravely stride forward.” is a poem by Chairman Mao Zedong.

1. Thirty years achievements and fame gained on the dusty ground.

Wellhope's development is a journey of people-oriented, team entrepreneurship and shared success. Thirty years ago, I invited six partners to co-found a start-up with a little poem. In order to break the monopoly of foreign companies, we resolutely resigned from superior positions in multinational company, returned to Liaoning where the white mountains and black waters are, combined our personal ideals with the strength of the country, and began a life of entrepreneurship in which good fortune and bad luck were uncertain and risks were unpredictable. There were two predictions about the seven of us. The first prediction was that we would surely succeed. Among the seven were one PhD, three masters, three bachelors, and six who had returned from resignation from multinational company. They were well-educated business elites, intellectuals with formal business training. The second prediction is that Wellhope cannot succeed for long. Because seven people are from six surnames, three ethnics and two genders, shares are scattered, making it difficult to make decisions efficiently, and the ages of the entrepreneurs are close to each other, their education background is similar, and their competence level is about the same; they were afraid that the team would go their separate ways in less than three to five years. In addition, there are also different views on why we want to start a business, what kind of business we would create, and on what principles we would base to run the business. The founder of Wellhope, after careful consideration, righteously issued the Wellhope Manifesto to set the record straight: Wellhope aspires to be the best company in China's feed industry. With advanced technology, scientific management, excellent human resources and the commitment to serve the society, we solemnly guarantee to the whole Chinese livestock and feed industry that: firstly, Wellhope will always develop new products from the needs of customers and never stick to the old ways; secondly, Wellhope will always do business with integrity; thirdly, Wellhope will always aim at serving the society and develop itself only by science and technology and creative efforts. In short, our goal is to be innovators and contributors to society, rather than a burden on it. After 30 years of development, Wellhope has become a multinational public company and one of China's top 500 enterprises; we have always kept our ideals and promises; not only the seven of us are as close as brothers and sisters, but also the team of shareholders is getting bigger and bigger. All my other partners are here at the venue today, except for Mr. Zhang Tiesheng, who lives abroad. I would now like to ask the five co-founders to please stand and wave to the guests. The unity of our company is getting more and more strengthened. At the beginning of the business, we rooted on the northeastern China to expand the market, relying solely on premix products. Five years later, Wellhope expanded the shareholder team for the first time. Gao Quanli, Wang Zhenyong, Wang Xueqiang, Zhao Xin, Zhang Wenliang, Sun Lige, Di Guo and Zhao Yiyuan, a total of 18 strivers who joined in the early days were invited to become shareholders of Wellhope. All of the managers mentioned above have become senior executives at Wellhope. Each one now oversees a specific business area or division as an independent Vice President. 7 founders plus 18 contributors - 25 people formed a strong core, which became a bright landscape in the Northeast region. Our business started to go out of Northeast China, into Northwest China, North China, Shanghai, Beijing, etc. At the 10 years of establishment in 2005, Wellhope expanded the shareholders' team again, Qiu Jiahui, Li Jun, Jin Hongyu, Liu Zhiyong, Sun Yuzhong, Meng Qinghong and others, a total of 25 people became the new business partners. Of the six previously mentioned managers, one has become Group President, two have become Vice Presidents overseeing specific business divisions, and three have become Senior Executives responsible for key business areas. With 50 shareholders standing shoulder-to-shoulder, Wellhope has become more mature and competitive.

The development of our business inevitably aroused the attention of our rivals, and we responded by making friends from a distance and attacking from close to home. 2006, we were honored to form an alliance with the Dutch company De Heus. Our European partners have helped Wellhope become more professional and more confident. Today, the Dutch partners are also here with us, please join me in welcoming Co de Heus and the De Heus family. From renting an abandoned army barracks to our own headquarter, from the humble small mixer to the roaring machines of modern factories, Wellhope's ambition has been rising, going out of the country, competing worldwide, and listing in the main stock market. Mr. Vaidya, who came from a wealthy family in Nepalled us to step out of the country and was our mentor. Our outstanding partners also come from the Hsu family brothers from the Philippines, the Kuok family from Indonesia, Mr. Harry Susilo, the overseas Chinese leader of Sekar and Mr. Iwi, our partner Mr. Ji Wennan from Russia, Mr. Behzod from Uzbekistan, and Mr. Bayar from Mongolia. Although we may be far apart, true friends are never far away. In short, Wellhope's international partners come around the world.

"The world's interests should be taken into account when calculating self-profits, and the reputation of a man should be made for all time. When the cause is grand, the money seems small, when the achievement is great, the life becomes young, when the ambition is bold, the difficulty will be insignificant. In a hundred years of Life, the cause is of the first; Without ambition, one cannot be successful; If talent is shallow, one cannot be successful; If talented but not valued, one cannot be successful; only like-minded and joint endeavor can be successful. "This is an excerpt from my year-end article for 2003. Wellhope always focuses on the long-term in the pursuit of success, and always aims to benefits the whole and cooperates with win-win strategy.

2. Eight thousand miles hard journey under the moon and cloud.

What’s the link between Wellhope’s business and the 8,000 miles? At present, Wellhope produces 9 million tons of feed annually, breeds and processes more than 900 million white feather broilers, farrows 3 million head of hogs, and trades nearly one million tons of feed ingredients, which is 8,000 miles in length when lined up in a truck loading. These are the fruits of our great work and our concrete contribution to society.

Feed premix is the core of feed, determines the quality of feed, and is the starting product of Wellhope. Initially, China premix technology and market were monopolized by two foreign feed companies. Wellhope had the courage to innovate and develop in-depth R&D to design its own premix products, and released the slogan of "1% adding, 100% rewarding". In response to the common belief that foreign products are better than domestic products, we promised "same quality, lower price, same price, better quality", and through a large number of animal experiments, we captured the market which was originally dominated by foreign companies. In three years, the premix has won a great victory in China's northeastern market. Wellhope did not stop its steps forward, but immediately entered the concentrated feed market. Considering the fact that every farmer in the north of China has corn and other energy raw materials, Wellhope specially designed the leading concentrated feed products with protein ingredients and micro-nutrients as the main ingredients; and put forward the product slogan of "No technology, no success", which realized the breakthrough development of the business. So far, Wellhope pig concentrates have been the national sales champion for 16 consecutive years.

With the success of concentrated feeds, Wellhope is determined to take a bold step forward to become a truly modern feed producer. We continued to enter the field of compound feeds, relying on mass production to capture the market, and pursuing extreme cost-effectiveness of our products. Wellhope's product slogan became "Wellhope Feed, Nutrition Expert". We know that the best way to grow Wellhope's business is to grow our customers' business. It took Wellhope 10 years to realize its original dream - to become the best feed company in China.

The market is surging, and the competition in the industry has entered a new stage of upstream and downstream integrative operation. Rather than avoiding the challenges, Wellhope took the initiative to enter the white feather broiler integration business in 2008. Today, Wellhope has become the largest broiler producer in Asia and the fifth largest in the world. In 2018, we entered the integrated business of pig breeding, feed and slaughtering. That business is now among the top 30 in China. Wellhope's brand name has been changed from "Wellhope Feed" to "Wellhope Foods" in 2021. "Animals we breed with feed, people we treat with feast." is our slogan today.

Wellhope additionally leads its peers in the trading of feed ingredients. We are also well known in the market for our breeding equipment, feed additives and veterinary medicine business. In recent years, Wellhope has entered the pet medical field and become a shining new star. Wellhope's businesses are spread all over China, from the forests and snowfields in the north to the coconut beaches of Hainan Island in the south, and from the Changbai Mountain in the east to the desert oasis under the Karakoram Mountains in the west. At the same time, we have also set up operations in the Belt and Road countries. Today all partners of Wellhope overseas company came to the celebration here, and we have high expectation on our overseas business. Let's welcome all our overseas business partners.

3. Though the iron-like road long and steep ahead.

As the old Chinese saying goes, "Food is god of people.", what we are doing is a great business. In 2015, the United Nations formulated the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are the common goals of mankind, and the first three of them are directly related to the agri-food industry: No poverty; Zero hunger; Good health and wellbeing. Meat, egg and milk, as the high-end part of food, has been determining the health of the population since ancient times, and even promoting the progress of mankind. In ancient times, countries and nations that ate more meat, eggs and milk were stronger, and were able to seize land and power with less; nowadays, countries that consume more meat, eggs and milk are more prosperous and developed, and produce more sports champions and Nobel Prize-winning scientists, which are usually modernized countries. To realize the great renaissance of China, people is the first element. Husbandry and food industry has a profound significance and a great responsibility. To be more specific, we are facing four pressures.

First, the pressure of environment and resources. China has a large population with insufficient land, water and resources. We use 7% of the world's cultivated land to feed 21% of the world's population. It seems that such a country can only sustain itself by eating grain. Consuming more meat, eggs and milk seems to be an unrealistic wish. But today, with the efforts of all industry peers, China's average consumption of meat, eggs and milk has reached the world's advanced level. Chinese people have become taller, stronger and smarter. Over the past four decades, the average height of the Chinese young generation has grown by 10 centimeters, from 1.659 meters to 1.759 meters, a miracle that has never happened before in the history of human. Behind the miracle is nutrition, an adequate supply of protein. But however, many of our raw materials need to be imported, or even are dependent on imports.

Second, the pressure of population decline. In the past decades of China's rapid economic growth, one of the driving force is the demographic dividend. As the world's largest population, it provides our economic development with the largest consumer market and the most abundant labor force. In recent years, China's population growth has stalled, and even began to decline. The proportion of elderly people in the population is gradually increasing. It's predicted that China will enter an aging society in ten years. And in 50 years, China's population will from 1.4 billion to about 800 million. This is the reality we must face.

Third, the pressure of over competition. China is a large manufacturing country. All industries have the problem of overcapacity. Chinese husbandry industry has the world's largest production capacity in most aspects. Excessive competition is very likely to become the reality of tomorrow.

Fourth, the pressure of food safety. In the past, food security is mainly manifested as guarantee of quantity. After decades of efforts, we have achieved absolute security of quantity. But today's food safety is more of a quality safety. Consumers are concerned not only about nutrition, but also about health; not only about the health of the product itself but also about the health of the producing method; not only about the quality of the product, but also about the animal welfare and humanity through the production process.

4. From a new beginning, we bravely stride forward.

At the age of 30, Wellhope is fully fledged and still full of ambition. We shall take today as a new beginning and march towards the future. We would not forget that in the April of 1995, in the rental office room 818 of Shenyang Agriculture Plaza, we proposed the "Wellhope Manifesto". We would not forget that at the same time, we set up the mission of Wellhope - "Promote the development of China's husbandry and food industry with advanced technology, excellent service and outstanding products; save resources, protect environment; realize food safety; and benefit human being." Our business will continue to expand. In the next decade, we plan to achieve the grand goal of "Double Top 3, Double 100 Billion", which means to achieve the top 3 objective in the world with an annual production of 20 million tons of feed; also achieve the top 3 objective in the world with an annual processing of 1.5 billion chickens. In ten years, Wellhope will realize a revenue of RMB100 billion, and a market value over RMB100 billion. We will depend on three forces to motivate our continuous growth:

First, the power of science and technology. In the next decade, we plan to invest more than 2 billion to build Wellhope's institute of digital agriculture to break through technologies in the fields of animal nutrition, food safety, breeding, intelligent cultivation, etc., so that "Wellhope Intelligent Production" will become the new standard of the industry.

Second, industry chain integration. From the black land in Northeast China to the tropical rainforest in Southeast Asia, we accelerate the construction of "transnational double-cycle" system to build the world's largest white-feather broiler industry cluster, so that "Wellhope" food goes to dinner table of the world.

Third, the centralizing force to the talents. Wellhope keep practicing the "Newcomer Promotion Program", so that more strivers can share the fruits of our development. We strongly believe that the future of the enterprise will be written by young people with passion in their hearts.

The great river keeps flowing, and the sound of gold and jade is resounding. The history of Wellhope's growth is the reflection of the our government's high attention on private economy development since China's Reform and Opening-up. Yesterday, Mr. Hao Peng, the Secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Committee, visited Wellhope's headquarters for a special inspection and offered his congratulations and best wishes for our 30th anniversary. This morning, Mr. Wang Xinwei, the Governor of Liaoning Province, met with the 30 delegates attending today's event. Wellhope's development is a vivid example of the boundless vitality of private enterprises, evolving from humble beginnings to reach new heights of growth. Private enterprises are widely recognized by society as the foundation of tax contributions, job creation and driving economic growth.

Here I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the co-founders of Wellhope for your trust in me and your willingness to follow me starting a business and running the risk with me. Thanks to all the shareholdersmanagement team and all Wellhope people, you are all worthy strivers. Thanks to all the customers for their love and encouragement to us, thanks to all the suppliers for your support and trust.
